Hi, I’m Alexa Ranger, the face behind Images By Lex..

I graduated from college in 2016 with a degree in teaching and have spent the last ten years working with incredible students and staff. In 2022, I returned to school to pursue my administrative credential and currently serve as an Assistant Special Education Director.

On the personal side, I married my best friend in 2019, and together we’ve built a beautiful family. Welcoming our first child in 2020, our second in 2022, and our third in 2024.

Some of my greatest passions include all things summer, traveling, crafting, teaching, spending quality time with family, cheering at baseball games, and of course photography.

People often ask what draws me to photography, and my answer is simple: it’s the people.

Those who know me best would tell you I have a genuine passion for helping others. Whether they’re children, adults, or families. Teaching is in my blood, and photography has become another way for me to connect, inspire, and tell stories through images.

When you work with me, you can expect a thoughtful, personalized experience. I’ll take time to understand your vision and select a location that fits perfectly, or we can shoot at a place that holds special meaning for you. During our session, I’ll guide you through poses and prompts that feel natural, comfortable, and fun. I’ll laugh with you, encourage your creativity, and capture genuine moments that reflect you.
